WHAT TO EXPECT

UPON ARRIVAL PICK UP FROM JOMO KENYATTA AIRPORT (JKIA) NAIROBI.

DAY 1- NAIROBI- MAASAI MARA

Arrival at Maasai Mara National Reserve

Pick up from your hotel at 0700 Hrs. and be received by our tour guide.
Kick off to Masai Mara through the great African rift valley.
You will arrive in time at Narok town and check into the camp for lunch meals. However, in the afternoon you will have a game drive in search of the lion, cheetah, elephant, buffalo and other members of the big five plus animals.
Dinner and overnight will be at Encounter Mara Camp.

DAY 2 - Maasai Mara - Full day

Enjoy an early morning bush breakfast of around 7:30 in the morning.
Experiencing the serenity and vistas plain views with a touch of the morning sun.
Proceed for a full game viewing in the great park in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the zebra, millions of wildebeest migration* July – August* giraffe, hippos’ and dangerous crocodiles with a visit to the Mara River. Along with you carry packed lunch which will be served at Mara River.
There will be an optional activity taking place beyond the 1730hrs where you opt to visit the Masai village or back to the camp. Dinner and overnight will be spent at the Encounter Mara Camp.

DAY 3 - Maasai Mara – Lake Naivasha - Lake Nakuru

Lake Nakuru

After breakfast at around 0630 Hrs. Leave Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru enroute Lake Naivasha for a boat ride. You can always choose other optical activities.
In the afternoon you will grab lunch at a local restaurant ( own expenses ) before driving to Nakuru.
Dinner and overnight will be at Midland Hotel Nakuru.
Optional activities Cresent Island hike Hell’s gate hike, climbing and cycling.

DAY 4 - Amboseli National Park

Today you’ll meet the driver at the lobby at 6:30 am, depart on our 2.5-hour drive towards Lake Nakuru National Park, including a stop the Lake Nakuru viewing point.
On arrival at the Lake Nakuru Park, you will embark on a game-viewing drive, with a chance to see some of Kenya’s remarkable birdlife on the beautiful lakes of the Rift Valley.
Keep your eye open for other animals grazing along the shoreline, including some of Africa’s famous game animals. Lake Nakuru has earned its fame as the home of the greatest bird spectacle in the world, a myriad of often more than a million pink flamingos that flock to feed at its shallow warm waters.
In the mid-afternoon drive to Amboseli arriving at 3 pm: before the sunset enjoy the evening game drive in search of big five.
Catch the spectacular sunset overlooking Mount Kilimanjaro [Masai].
Enjoy dinner and overnights at Teen Ranch Camp or similar.
Get entertained by Maasai cultural dancers as you relish the Bon fire warmth.

DAY 5- AMBOSELI TO NAIROBI

Nairobi County

Early morning game drive of up to 1030 Hrs. to see the famous scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro.
Afterwards have your final breakfast at the camp then leave for Nairobi to be arriving at around 1700 Hrs. and be dropped at the airport.
